Testing

We are able to undertake a number if tests in the following areas if required.

Food intolerance Testing

  • £120 for 40 well known foods such as Wheat, Milk, Egg, Yeast, the results from this test are ready within the hour.
  • £265 for 113 foods, and covers a more extensive range, the results from this test are back in one week.

We are also able to offer a test for £20 which indicates whether you have intolerances in the first place and therefore need more extensive tests.

You may like to discuss the most appropriate test for you , food or environmental or both, at the time of your appointment you do not need to decide before coming.

 

Allergy Testing

 This is a test taken with a pin prick of blood and sent away, the results are returned in one week.

There are 2 types of allergens that can be tested. The results provided will include information about

Food

Peanut, Celery, Carrot, Meat Mix, Cows Milk, Whole Egg, Fish Mix, Shrimp, Soy Bean, Hazelnut, Wheat Flour, Rye Flour

Environmental 

House Dust Mite, Birch Pollen, Hazel Pollen, Grass Pollen Mix, Mugwort Pollen, Stinging Nettle Pollen, Aspergillus, Fumigatus, Alternaria Alternate, Cladosporium Herbarum, Dog Epithelia, Cat Epithelia, Latex

You can choose that the time of order which type of test you would like Food, Environmental or Both.

DNA Testing

We now  do DNA testing for biological relationships eg. paternity cases. This may be a peace of mind test or it can be legal paternity testing.

The test is done by taking a mouth swab from the people involved, this is then sent away for analysis in a leading laboratory
